We made the news!

Take a look at this 2-minute feature from Victoria’s Chek TV News. Anchor Joe Perkins is a mensch. My only issue is that they edited out my “Happy Father’s Day!” shout out to my dad Wilf. Joe doesn’t do the editing. Anyway, I usually detest seeing myself on screen but not this time. Maybe because Willa makes a special guest appearance. Try not to smile when you see her. I dare you. I double dog dare you.

As you’ll see, I’ve started smoking meat in Tofino, B.C. Wait. That rhymes. Anyway, it feels good to be back in the meat business even in a small way. But as a result of that clip I got a bunch of calls asking if I could do smoked meat slicing stations at weddings in Tofino. Just the best people get married in our little town. Yes, Willa and I were married here too. And we had a smoked meat slicing station at our wedding. How could I say no? I didn’t!
